Variable frequency power supply converts the AC power in the city power through AC-DC-AC, and outputs a pure sine wave.

Variable frequency power supply converts the AC power in the city power through AC-DC-AC, and outputs a pure sine wave. The output frequency and voltage are adjustable within a certain range. It is different from the variable frequency drive speed controller used for motor speed regulation, and also different from the ordinary AC voltage stabilized power supply.

The characteristics of an ideal AC power supply are stable frequency, stable voltage, zero internal resistance, and a pure sine wave voltage waveform (no distortion). Variable frequency power supply is very close to the ideal AC power supply. Therefore, advanced and developed countries are increasingly using variable frequency power supply as a standard power supply to provide the best power supply environment for electrical appliances, so as to facilitate objective assessment of the technical performance of electrical appliances.

The technical requirements of variable frequency power supply are as follows:

Rated total capacity of variable frequency power supply

6000VA, input single-phase AC: 220V±10%, output three-phase four-wire symmetrical power supply (rated power of each phase 2000VA), requiring the power supply to have a short-term overload capacity of 2 times.

Insulation strength of variable frequency power supply

The withstand voltage between the output terminal and the shell and the ground should withstand 3000V AC power frequency for 1 minute without breakdown.

Output frequency

There are three fixed frequency outputs: 40Hz, 50Hz, and 60Hz; the frequency accuracy should be guaranteed to be ±0.05%.

The voltage of the variable frequency power supply is fixed to two gears, 250V and 1000V, and the two gears share the same output terminal.

1st gear: rated output 0~250V (referring to the single-phase output voltage when three-phase four-wire) and the output voltage is continuously adjustable, and the output current is 8A~2A.

2nd gear: rated output 0~1000V (referring to the single-phase output voltage when three-phase four-wire) and the output voltage is continuously adjustable, and the output current is 2A~5mA.

Power supply protection

The power supply has short circuit protection, overload protection, and power device overheating protection. It has an overload alarm prompt when the maximum current exceeds the maximum current (prompting which phase voltage or current overload protection).

Three-phase output characteristics of variable frequency power supply

1. The output characteristics of variable frequency power supply should not be affected by whether the power supply load is inductive or capacitive.

2. When the variable frequency power supply outputs at non-industrial frequency, it is necessary to ensure that the external power supply load can normally output non-industrial frequency voltage and current signals when it reverses power to the output end of the power supply (reverse current is 50HZ/20A per phase).

3. The variable frequency power supply can output three-phase four-wire symmetrical power supply or single-phase power supply.

Integrated machine structure or split machine structure: The internal assembly of the power supply must ensure that each device has good anti-transportation and vibration performance; the internal components of the power supply are assembled reasonably for easy maintenance; the power control key and the power input and output terminals are installed on the surface of the casing and recessed on the surface of the casing; the power frequency has a clear indicator light, and the bottom of the power supply uses large casters (integrated machine structure) with self-locking function for easy on-site movement; reasonable handling handles are installed on both sides of the power supply and recessed on the surface of the casing.
